

Spilt MilkIt was bright, unnaturally so. He had expected the sky to be overcast- thick, bruised clouds smothering the sun as it struggled to peek through their misty hulls. He had wanted rain- his ears strained for the sounds of pit-pattering droplets bouncing off a huddle of umbrellas, miniature drums throbbing with an incessant beat.
